Full-stack software engineer (Angular/TypeScript, C#/.NET, SQL Server) who works directly with enterprise clients to turn their needs into shipped software, often within the same day. Conservatory-trained bassist (Indiana University Jacobs School of Music; Aspen Music Festival) who brings an ensemble player's instinct for communication and a performer's standard of craft.

Software Engineer, CutterCroix LLC

Jan 2024 – Present

Cleveland, OH · GiddyUp: a configurable CRM serving hundreds of companies, including SRS, Heritage, and Sherwin-Williams.

  • Engineer on the two-person Enterprise Integrations team, building custom contractor-management apps (project bidding, multi-contractor workflows) for enterprise clients; work praised by client executive leadership and later released to all customers.
  • Work directly with client engineering and management teams, turning their requests into tested, deployed features, often within the same day; currently building public APIs that a client's team is building an app on.
  • Designed and built GiddyUp Teams, including a round-robin assignment algorithm. Built for one client, then released platform-wide and adopted internally.
  • Built the Procore integration for construction takeoffs: create from scratch, import items, upload material spreadsheets, manage access, and link directly into Procore.
  • Designed and built the calendar and Kanban project views and redesigned the job-intake form for an enterprise client's app.
  • Rewrote legacy SQL behind enterprise-scale screens: a 60,000-job list from ~30s (often timing out) to ~11s, and a Kanban board from 17s to 2s. Regularly untangle and modernize inherited code across database and application layers.
  • Early adopter of AI-assisted development (ChatGPT, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Claude); now build with Claude daily across design, implementation, debugging, and refactoring.
  • Elected team lead for a company Innovation Day: gathered requirements from leaders of our largest clients, split the team between ship-now features and a vision mockup, and shipped more production changes than any other team.
  • Served on the deployment team running 4 AM production releases roughly every 1.5 weeks. Represent engineering at industry trade shows (e.g., FRSA Convention & Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Expo) and handle booth logistics: shipping, setup, and teardown.

Delivery Driver (Top Dasher), DoorDash, 2020–2023: 3,000+ deliveries with near-perfect ratings. Production Associate, API Trucast (aerospace casting), 2018–2019: trained new hires on 3+ processes.

  • Principal Bassist, Indiana University New Music Ensemble (2019–2022): premieres and commissions by student, faculty, and guest composers, often working directly with composers in rehearsal.
  • Assistant Principal Bass, Carmel Symphony Orchestra (2021–2023): 2–6 concerts per month, including school and community outreach; relayed direction from conductor and principals to the section; adapted to 1–2 guest soloists and conductors monthly.
  • Aspen Music Festival and School (2022): Aspen Festival Orchestra, Aspen Chamber Symphony, and Aspen Contemporary Ensemble; performed with Augustin Hadelich and Joyce Yang; masterclasses with Edgar Meyer; performed an original solo bass composition on a soloists' recital.
  • Chautauqua Institution School of Music (2019): Music School Festival Orchestra; performed an original solo bass composition on a soloists' recital.
  • Texas Music Festival, University of Houston (2018).
  • Auditioned for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
  • Composer and producer: 14 self-released albums, EPs, and projects (2016–present), written, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered independently in Ableton Live and Max/MSP; distributed via DistroKid to Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms.
  • Teaching: coached bass sectionals for school and youth orchestras (including paid sectional coaching for an Indianapolis youth orchestra); private bass instruction; frequent outreach performances in schools and senior centers.
